The Anglican Church of the Word
 (ACOW) is a member of the
Anglican Mission in the Americas
(AMiA). We are members of the worldwide Anglican
Communion and a part of the Episcopal Church of
Rwanda,
under Archbishop and Primate, the
Rt. Rev.
Onesphore Rwaje
. Our Bishop is
the Rt. Rev. John Miller.
We are a multi-cultural, multi-generational
congregation, worshipping our Lord in a mix of traditional and
contemporary Anglican worship styles.
We welcome all persons; those who think they
have
no faith,
little faith
or
much faith.
We pray that wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you will
recognize our Lord as He walks with you, so we can all echo the disciples
on the road to Emmaus: "Were not our hearts burning within us while he
talked with us ...and opened the Scriptures to us?" (Lk 24:32 NIV)
May our Lord be known to all of us in the breaking
of Bread.
VISION STATEMENT:
We are called to worship God together, equipped by
the Word of God to reach out to the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, in
the Power of the Spirit.

evangelism through Church planting, fulfilling Christ’s Great Commandment
